Sue Simmonds Wows Radio Gloucestershire Audience!

The co-founder of the Minchinhampton Players, Sue Simmonds, was on Radio Gloucestershire today talking to Nicky Price about the new group in general and our first production, ‘Murdered to Death’ in particular.

Sue also got in a deft plug for the Grand Quiz Night tomorrow ( 1st September) and explained the great affection she feels for the Market House building and the many events that she organises in order to raise funds for its upkeep.

In between these vital topics, the audience heard about her favourite record (‘Goodbye to Love’ by the Carpenters), her least favourite track (‘Wild Thing’ by the Troggs), next year’s self-penned Revue and John Mounsey’s old tweed suit, which is billed to make its stage debut in November.

A memorable broadcast that you can probably listen to again, or for the first time, on BBC Radio i-Player.
